David's Delight Fudge Pie

This ooey gooey chocolate delight is perfect for a family meal or holiday feast.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 unbaked refrigerated pie crust

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Unroll pie crust and press into pie plate.
  • In a 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, melt butter, sugar, and chocolate for 1-2 minutes on HIGH, stirring halfway through cooking time. Once chocolate is totally melted (be careful not to burn chocolate), mix well with wire whisk.
  • Add vanilla. Beat in eggs. Pour into prepared crust.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until set in center. Crust will crack when cooling. Serve warm.
