Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs
This hard boiled egg method yields the best results every time!


Place 9 eggs in 3-qt stainless steel saucepan. Pour cold water over eggs to cover by 1/2-inch.
Place saucepan over medium-high heat and bring water and eggs to a rolling boil. Boil for 3 minutes.
Turn off burner and cover saucepan with lid. Let eggs cook covered for 10 minutes with the burner off.
Remove the lid from the saucepan, and using a large slotted spoon, scoop eggs out of the saucepan and into an ice water bath. Make sure eggs are totally submerged in the ice bath. Let eggs sit for 6 minutes.
Remove eggs from the water and peel. Refrigerate any eggs that you are not immediately using.
