Ingredients:
 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
 ¾ cup granulated sugar
 ¾ cup corn meal
 1 ½ tbsp baking powder
 ¾ tsp salt
  cup milk
 ¾ cup vegetable oil
 1 egg
  cup water
Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 12-inch cast iron skillet with unsalted butter.

In stand mixer with paddle attached, mix dry ingredients.

Carefully, mix in wet ingredients until well combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until top is golden.
