Chocolate Crackled Cookies


Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together brown sugar, butter, shortening and vanilla until well blended.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
Mix in flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda until blended.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop dough and roll into balls. Roll in granulated sugar, then in powdered sugar to coat completely. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set. Cool on wire racks.
