How to Freeze Fresh Strawberries

Strawberries are easy to freeze with just a few simple steps.
- Wash strawberries under cool running water. Place them in a colander and drain.
- Remove the stems.
- Place strawberries in a single layer on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and place in freezer for 4-6 hours or until frozen solid.
- Remove strawberries from the freezer and place them in vacuum seal plastic bags. Vacuum seal your strawberries. (If you don’t have a vacuum sealer, plastic freezer bags will also work, but make sure to remove as much air as possible before sealing.)
- Label with the contents and date. Place back in the freezer until you are ready to thaw and use.
