  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp espresso powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Dutch cocoa powder

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. Melt chocolate, butter, and espresso powder in double boiler over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar then eggs until well combined. Fold in cocoa. Pour into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
